Overview
SODEI’s mentorship and empowerment program was created to encourage personal and professional development through knowledge, expertise and experience sharing. SODEI recognizes that the knowledge and skills gaps that exist in Cameroon can be closed quicker and cost-effectively through mentoring and skills training. Also, there is a popular misconception amongst Cameroonians that if useful information is widely shared, many other members of the society will benefit from it hence limiting the informer’s chances of progress. The youth mentoring and empowerment program will teach young people not only to identify and make use of but create opportunities for themselves.
Youth Mentoring and Empowerment Workshops
As part of our Youth Mentorship and Empowerment Program, we host workshops bringing together participants and facilitators (mentors).
Entrepreneurship Training
Through this initiative SODEI fosters income generation, self-reliance, self-sustenance and community development through entrepreneurship.

In our continuous effort towards empowering young persons in our community, #SODEI Cameroon has a new branch.
FUNZI Founder 101 on Entrepreneurship
SODEI has partnered with FUNZI, a digital learning provider based in Finland, to provide entrepreneurial training and small business seed capital to disadvantaged young people in Southwest Cameroon.
